Anybody who's smoked marijuana knows about "the munchies," that desire to eat everything within reach. But a study from France has found that, surprisingly, pot smokers are actually less likely than non-smokers to pack on weight.

Most pot heads I know spend most of their disposable income on pot or beer. They eat enough to live on, but don't really choose to spend it on excess food. One of my best friends goes through more beer per week than most bars and he smokes enough weed to keep him pretty mellow most of the time. He is a great guy, a hard worker, reliable and skinny as a rail.

Most weed smokers I've known were actually in pretty good shape.

A lot of smokers are nature out doors kind of people. Not surprising.
