Dan Patrick tweeted that it's already in the works.

I hope this happens

Absolutely....INSANE!

Leach and Davis WILL NOT get along. Oakland is a perfect example of what happens when you let the nut run the nuthouse.

Wow. He's the only fool crazy enough to do that. He knows he'll have to find a way to use JaMarcus Russell. Good luck with that Leach.

volmanbill said it best... they deserve each other.

I would like to see what he could do in the NFL. I doubt he would get another shot at a big time college school. Being a Chiefs fan, it would be fun to see what he brings twice a year.

Leach is going to be coaching version of Clinton Portis. Leach, dressed like a pirate, sitting next to the Crypt-Keeper would be a classic image of the train-wreck that is now the Raiders.

You think he's going to get a chance to do anything he wants to do?

He's going to have to run his spread offense with Russell. Hilarity will ensue.

Yep, it's been in the works since yesterday. The Air Raid in the NFL certainly would be interesting. What would be better than Leach working with a team with a pirate on the side of its helmet? I also heard from a few sources that he could end up working with Leslie Frazier at Buffalo as an offensive coordinator if he gets the HC gig with the Bills, which is unlikely considering Brian Billick is already rumored to be assembling a staff.

Russell is a joke. If he does go to Oakland they will need to draft accordingly. Can you see Tebow in silver & black?

Coach has no say.

Look up Tom Cable's quotes about this. If Cable had a chance to run that team they probably would have made the playoffs. No coach has had any say in drafting or the depth chart at Oakland, trust me on that. It's all Al Davis... and he's insane.

Russell has no business being one of the NFL's highest paid QBs.
Al Davis has no business running an NFL team.

It's a Sitcom match made in Heaven.

Now they just need Matt Millen for director of Pro Player Personal.
