Least Favorite Sport

What is your least favorite sport

I'll qualify my vote for "bowling" by stating that I don't consider the last 2 options as real "sports." By definition, a sport involves physical exertion, so that rules out cards, scrabble, and (gasp) the spelling bee (albeit NOT the hot dog eating contest). I'd call those "games" or something.

Auto racing is really in a league of its own, due to the use of machines (come on you guys with numbers tatooed on the back of your pickup windows, I know it's hard to drive that many miles in a car with no AC -- it's just DIFFERENT than the other options).

Also, you might qualify this as "least favorite sport TO WATCH or TO PLAY." My guess is that there would be a lot of difference -- e.g. my vote. Another example, anyone who's ever played Soccer knows that it's constant action. The problem with TV-viewing is that most of the action is passing or ball control and doesn't usually result in a goal, which is pretty much the sole reason most people watch sports. (Who's favorite part of Sportcenter isn't "Top Plays?")

If you'd said men's tennis, I might agree. With Sharapova and Kournikova, women's tennis has become one of my fav's!

I would pick racing for NASCAR except I enjoy just about every other motor racing event except NASCAR. So that rules racing out.

Given the options left, and the fact that I enjoy doing each of those activities, I'll go with bowling as I hate watching it.

Hockey is horrible!!!!!!!

In defense of hockey, it's one of the most technically-challenging (you should see me try to ice skate WITHOUT a stick and puck involved) and physical (have you seen a hockey veteran's face up-close?) sports on the planet. Like soccer or other "low-scoring" games, it doesn't garner a lot of TV support. However, in person, a good hockey game is actually really entertaining -- especially if you get seats down by the glass. Nothing better than looking through smeared blood -- kind of gives it a primal feel.

Hockey on TV sucks but watching it live is almost like being in ancient Rome and watching the Gladiators, you can't help but get into it!

Wheres Baseball??? That would be my vote!! :bad:
Hockey is the most physically demanding sport up there, if you have never played then you have NO IDEA!! They are great athletes.
NASCAR is my favorite, But Hockey is a close third, behind College Football, Vols Football.

The only woman I actually enjoyed watching, ever, is Diana Taurasi. She is the only woman I've ever seen that I would say could play with men. She can crossover like it's nothing, shoot off the dribble, fade away........her game looks like a man's when she plays.

Other than that, I'd like to see Brittany Jackson and Zolman make out and rub on eachother for a little while at half court.
