Lebby to Mississippi State

Think he is a great hire. Someone who knows Kiffin and solid offensive mind.

Plus OU is losing their coordinator for next year which is an added bonus for us playing on the road.

I would expect Venables to go after Brandon Streeter.

I think Lebby is a good hire for State.
Who can they get who is better?

I expect Lebby will be a better coach than the Pirate. He is much easier to work for.

The more teams that run this offense in the SEC, the less advantage the Vols have running a unique offense.. the margin for running it will begin shrink. It won’t be zero, but it may shrink further.

No other team in the SEC runs our offense.

This hire weakens OU SIGNIFICANTLY. I love it.

Explain in more detail how this weakens Oklahoma’s offense? Littrell will be calling the shots in the bowl game it seems and he’s familiar with Lebby’s schemes. It’s still a ways off until next season and either hiring an OC from another program or promoting Littrell, they’ll still be formidable.

Lebby is one of the best OCs in the nation. We lost Golesh and look what happened. They will still be good but their offense won’t be as potent as it was. Why? Because you aren’t finding another Lebby. Doesn’t matter what guy is familiar with Lebbys system, he isn’t Lebby. Even if they light it up in the bowl game, that doesn’t matter.

As Pete Bell once said, “it’s not what you do, it’s how you do it.”
