Really LeBron? I tuned in on the middle of the segment on OTL First Report and the headline was "Free Agent Fallout: LeBron James says "It's always, you know, a race factor". Seriously man? It wasn't the fact that you said you wanted to win a championship in Cleveland then bolted for Miami?

LeBron has now become a walking media gaffe. He has hordes of clowns walking around to help him and he still finds a way to further alienate people.

Guess it doesn't matter when you're loaded, but his legacy isn't going to match the overblown media view of the guy.

To follow LeBron's logic, the fact that he went from loved to hated in less than 24 hours is racially motivated. Therefore, in those 24 hours, he went from white to black, with no other changes of any type happening.

What's shocking to me is how many in the media are agreeing with him, which just tells you how many idiots are in the media, like Jim Rome.

Crap like this is one reason why race will always be an issue, because douches like James will pull it out when things don't go their way.

In his limited defense, wasn't the question posed to him rather than him just coming right out and saying, "Oh, by the way, race is a factor in the reaction against me, in case you were wondering how I felt about it."

Not sure that makes it any better, but maybe.

Yes, and it was CNN who asked the question. I like CNN, but they're obsessed with racial issues.

It was posed to him but he could have said "no". Instead he took the bait and ran with it.

It's just really annoying that he can just throw that out there with absolutely no proof or examples or anything, and because he's black everyone is just supposed to take it as the truth.

Not agreeing with him, but what other reason could there be for the uproar over his decision.

Stabbing a downtrodden city, region, and state in the back with a rusty dagger on national TV. That's a good place to start...

Ultimately, I agree with him that race plays SOME factor in all the hatred.

Like 1.3%, how he treated the city of Cleveland comprising the other 98.7%.

I'm sure of the millions upon millions of people who are familiar with Lebron James and don't like him, there may be a few who have race play a factor.

So maybe 1.3% was a hundredfold exaggeration.
