I'm watching College Football Final on ESPN. I was waiting to hear Lee Corso eat his words. Well, it didn't happen. He said Cal can still make a run to the BCS championship game by winning their remaining schedule. Not once did he mention how great UT played or that he was wrong in his pick of Cal winning. This idiot continues to hate on UT and TCHFCATUTK. I hope College Gameday is not bringing him to Knoxville for the Florida game. He will get ran out of town if he puts on that stupid gator head!

He must not have seen the game, then. Cal doesn't even belong in the top-20. I won't say that I "hate" him. . . .but that's one sadly ridiculous statement.

That was Sportscenter you were watching... Final just now came on. I still doubt he eats his words though.

While going to a commercial, Rece Davis said, "And perhaps the most surprising, or maybe not so surprising, but definitely the best performance of the day happened on Rocky Top."

Woo-hoo!

Mark May also gave us some love and said that Tennessee is back.

May was very impressed today... he NEVER says good things about the Vols, but he just spouted off that they are a top 10 team.

They gave us lots of love tonight and the Vols deserved every bit of it. They played lights out.

My very first game as a student could not have been any better!

This is the first time in a long time that, after a game, I have no voice whatsoever. I mean, it's not that rare that my throat hurts after a game...but tonight, when I open my mouth to speak, nothing comes out. :p

I guess I'll just have to scream on here.

Woo-hoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

:stop: I disagree to a certain extent about Cal not being a top 20 team, Doc. Cal's a darn good team that quite simply got manhandled by a far better team. I think when we say Cal's over-rated, we're taking away from what UT did out there. It's been a long time since I've seen the Vols as prepared as they were yesterday. They could have beaten anybody outside the NFL.

From my point of view, I'd prefer to say Cal is a top 20 team and UT's a top 10 team.

As for Corso, he's college football's equivalent of Dick Vitale. Just another know-nothing stooge with a big mouth. Ignore the idiot!
He's living proof that all incompetents are not unemployed

I hope Cal DOES make a run now. Just makes the Vols' performance last night that much better.

Cal may well be a good team... But our passing game lit them up. You know it's not getting easier when they get to the Pac-10 schedule.

If Cal is still a title contender then we are gonna roll our way to the N.C. game.

They are wildly overrated and they were unmasked yesterday. They will win 7 games if they are lucky.

Corso is a fool and always has been. ESPN keeps him around for his personality and catch phrases. Has no real football knowledge and never has anything to back up his picks. :corso:

I agree Charly, Corso is comedy relief....I think of him as the shows bs factor...with Herbstriet as the serious opinion.

I'm glad Rece is the leader of college football on ESPN. Yeah he's a Bama fan, but he's a SEC fan as well.
