My friends aunt and uncle has 3 seats for the UK@TENN game. They are 13 rows back lower level and are asking 150 a piece for them. Is it worth it this year? Would you pay 150 bucks a seat to be that close for this game? What is TBA like this year? In the past it's been rockin' and most of the time I've been treated well as a UK fan inside your arena (except the year of Meeks, I had pizza thrown at me for no reason). I would just hate to go and spend that much money and it be a ghost town. Do you think it will still have the same environment as always with Kentucky? Thats what I want if I am going to go.

150 is cheap for us. Those seats in Rupp would be 400 a pop easy. With that being said I don't mind to pay it but I want it to be a good game in a good environment though..

You back on campus at the game today Chris?

I was planning on it, but I got called in to work last night, so I was busting ass until 5 AM this morning. Not exactly in the best shape to go. Can't wait til the game is over so I can go back to sleep.

Can't really afford to right now. Masters program is taking a toll on me so far. I've heard nothing but good things about the old crew though. GP has done an outstanding job since he's been here.

I'm watching the Florida game and I am trying to look up into the stands to see how many people are there. I would imagine there would be just as many people there for Florida as there would be for UK. It's too dark I can't really tell if those are people with black shirts or seats!

They aren't worth that. Sadly, some UK fan will pay that for them.

Let's put it in perspective.

As a UT fan, no way. I wouldn't pay $70 for that.

But as a UK fan wanting to come watch UK, it could be a steal. The seats are good ones.

You just have to decide if it's worth it to watch UK for that price. Because from a UT fan's eyes it isn't.

I say go ahead and go, you'll love it. Just be sure that the folks sitting around you have time for their pizza to cool off before you say anything to them.

I was there this morning. It was no sellout, but the crowd was extremely good for a 7-7 team. Better than it was in 5 of the 6 games I saw last year (exception: ESPN Gameday in town vs Vandy). And the win will probably help the crowd for next week. $150 is pretty damn steep though. Upper level seats have too good of sight lines to pay that much for lowers.

No way is three tickets worth that .A few years back i bought 3 tickets in row 11 behind the Ut bench for 170 from a friend of mine for the texas, flordia.ky,lsu and two other games i cant remember which two,I only missed two games that year.those were some rockin tickets to some awesome games.a kentucky fan would pay 150 in a heartbeat.but a normal person would find cheaper seats somewhere.

Tell your friend that they need a better aunt and uncle.
