Out of curiosity I was wondering where Lennon Creer had landed and I found out that he had a pretty good season at Louisiana Tech. In fact he had a good enough season to get on the Doak Walker watch list. I know those pre season watch lists are not that exclusive but its still a good accomplishment for him. He was pretty impressive whenever he touched the ball for us, I kind of wish he had stayed.

I agree he looked good when he did get to play. Really would have liked him to have been here lastyear. Want nothing but the best for him, he was one of my favorite recruits and had high hopes for him. too bad it didnt work out.

I thought he was pretty good as well.

His biggest game as a Vol was a loss to Wyoming. He's right where he needs to be - a place where no one will push him.

I remember his running style, reminding me of some great RB in history. It's sad that he and others were in that situation over that time. I just hope the very best for them.

What situation did Creer get into? Reports from practice said he didn't like the new, tougher practices that came with the coaching transition. He got passed on the depth chart by two underclassmen and saw that two more highly rated RBs were on the way. So he decided to transfer to one of the least talented programs in the nation.

..... and doing so will likely get him drafted higher than our starting RB this year.

I'd be fairly surprised if either is drafted. If I'm looking for a running back to start for the Vols in 2011 I take a one-legged Poole over Creer.

I agree with you on this. Potential wise Creer has the most potential and more talent. I think Creer will be drafted higher than Creer.Im sure alot depends on how their SR years go and the combines. I never would have thought Foster would have been a good NFL RB muchless lead the league in rushing. I would have called someone insane if they had told me that. But he has busted his ass and got it done. Happy for him. And if Poole gets there i will pull for him to be successful too. The more guys you see in the league the better we can sell UT players getting to the NFL. If i was Dooley i would be showing recruits video of Peyton(best QB in the league), Mayo(lead the NFL in tackles I believe), Whitten(One of the top TE's in the NFL), Foster(Led the NFL in rushing). Hopefully Stallworth,Meachem or one of the receivers in the league show out. really want Stallworth to, he has always been one of my favorite UT players.
