Has anyone ever picked up a copy of Leonard's Losers? It takes lame humor to a whole new level.

I can't remember the last time I heard Leonard on the radio. Is it still the same guy? He'd have to be about 80 years old by now.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press is also picking South Carolina. :blink:

This is getting to be an epidemic. Like I've said before, it could happen, but what is it about this game that's causing everyone is pick SC to win? It's not like SC is on a roll or something. :dunno:

The same reason the Vols (6-1) are rated 11th in the AP and 12th in the Coaches' polls with wins over Florida, Georgia and Alabama. From some of the stuff I keep reading from the different media, the Florida win was aided by the officials and the Georgia win was because Georgia played poorly. The hi-lights on ESPN for both games focused on the same. If the Vols just keep winning, they will eventually have to acknowledge them in the polls. Luckily, the computers only look at wins and losses to offset the negative feedback from the 'human' polls.

It's like the Tennessee/Georgia game never happened. :dunno:

I think the teams that are really getting screwed are Texas and California. How those teams are behind GA in the coach's poll is baffling.

I, for one, am sick and tired of Tennessee getting absolutely no respect from the sports media. :bash:

We beat Georgia AT Georgia and have only lost to a NUMBER 3 team and we're ranked behind GA? It's absolutely ridiculous. I don't care how long it's been since GA won a National Championship, that doesn't mean they SHOULD OR CAN.

Peyton got screwed by ABC/ESPN for the Heisman and that's just one offense in a long list.

Maybe these coaches don't like the color orange? Maybe these coaches are jealous of TN's continued success or Fulmer's record? I don't know, but it's infuriating. The only reason that SC is picked to win this weekend is because everyone wants them to, so their poor little dawgs can get to a Championship.

HEY COACHES!!!! Even if we lose, GA still has to beat Florida and Auburn...IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!

Well, California has lost to the only decent team they&#39;ve played so far (USC). UCLA is 4-3, but the rest of their wins have come against losers. They are living off of hype. If they beat Arizona State this weekend, then I&#39;ll believe they deserve their ranking. Cal&#39;s opponents are 17-17.

Texas has some wins that are somewhat better, but the best they&#39;ve beaten is still only a couple of 4-3 teams in Missouri and Texas Tech. They lost to Oklahoma. We&#39;ll know more about Texas after they play OSU and A&M. Texas&#39; opponents are 24-17.

The only teams with losing records that Georgia has faced are Vanderbilt and Arkansas. Georgia has beaten 5-2 SCarolina, 4-3 Marshall, 5-2 LSU, and lost to 6-1 Tennessee. Georgia&#39;s opponents are 23-12.

Similarly, why are the Vols ranked behind Cal and Texas? The Vols have only faced 2 teams with losing records: UNLV and Ole Miss. The Vols have beaten 4-3 Florida, 4-4 La Tech, 6-1 Georgia, 5-3 Alabama. The Vols only loss is to 8-0 Auburn. Tennessee&#39;s opponents are 28-15.

On news talk this evening they had Albert Haynesworth and he was talking about the same thing NO RESPECT. But he did say it was nice to have Flemming on the same team so they could talk about Tennessee being the greatest team in the country.
