The invitation to speak at commencement is not an endorsement of Gingrich, Falwell said.

Another potential GOP contender, Sen. John McCain (news, bio, voting record) of Arizona, spoke at Liberty's commencement last year. McCain's appearance followed a reconciliation with Falwell, who had been at odds with McCain during the 2000 campaign for the Republican nomination.

I'm fat, does that mean I can't call other fat people out?

Does a death row inmate have to cheer on a serial killer, or can he take a moral stand and say it's wrong without being labeled a hypocrite?

I'm not in any way excusing Newt. Breaking one's vows is inexcusable, but I don't believe that makes him unable to criticize others who behaved the same way.

I want to know who had sex with Newt. She's probably as desperate as they come.

If it is necessary to charge him with perjury for that, then half of the men (and women) who have ever been to divorce court should also be charged.

Well to those who focus on the moral issues it was about adultery. So it depends on who the audience is. When talking to Dobson, you'd think adultery would be the focus.
