We at some bugs from the oriental store in college. May have just been drunk and on drugs but they weren't too bad.

I dont mind it as an option. And one thing I have seen offered is using the bugs to feed chickens and pigs. Apparently that's more efficient than other sources. That also doesnt bother me.

But if they start requiring it there are going to be issues.

There was a bar/restaurant in DC when I co-oped in the early 90s. It had bug food. Fried crickets, that sort of thing. I had a bite of mealworm chimichanga and it was pretty delicious. Of course I may have been drinking

I don't see an issue with it really. I do think it will be much more useful in countries with exploding population

Democrat and Republican politicians and their donors (the ones who actually influence policy) will be eating steak and lobster.

They’re marketing/forcing this bug crap on middle/lower classes. Hell will freeze over before me or my family will eat that ****.

3D-printing insects mixed with vegetables could help us to prevent food crisis

"Alternative proteins may become our main source of protein intake in the future. This study proposes a systematic engineering approach to optimizing food inks, thereby enabling easy creations and customizations of visually pleasing, flavorful, and nutritionally adequate food enhanced with alternative proteins. We hope our work would encourage consumers to eat more of these unfamiliar but sustainable food items," says Yi Zhang, Study Principal Investigator and Professor, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
