Lets Get Fired Up

Hey, just noticed that there's lots of talk about lots of stuff going on right now, but not much about this weekend. Let's not overlook a team that beat Michigan a couple months ago.

After all, they were the slain in one of the greatest games in UT history!

Don't know much about them this year, any thoughts?

I was kinda waiting for those Irish smack talkers to come back (remember the 2 ND chowder heads) but they haven't come around yet. And as for beating Michigan I'm not impressed, my only concern is that ainge gets motivated this week without having someone replace him. ND will give us a good game but UT wins by 14. h34r:

I agree, it's not nearly as much fun and rowdy without the trash-talkers wandering around. Maybe we could just combine them all and let them run wild and root for whoever Tennessee is beating each week? They'll be called the "Cock-Uga-Zooky-Bammers" and their mascot can be a big crow. Maybe even Beck can play "Loser" at halftime!

Cock-Uga-Zooky-Nueter done-Bammers.... I did a little editing 4 the mascot's name but I like the idea..... and this week at half time we could tar and feather a leprechaun.

Michigan is overrated, as they have been for years. As I remember, a few years ago we beat Michigan 45-7 in the Orange Bowl, and they almost lost to Michigan State. We'll beat ND 30-14.

I think it was the 2001 Citrus Bowl.

It was the 2001 season (game was 1/1/2002), and we won 45-17. I remember one of the Detroit papers moping about how our TE (Whitten) was outrunning their DBs&#33;&#33;

ND can look for similar results this weekend since they&#39;re cut from the Big 10(11?) mold.
