Fulmer has become a better coach as the years and memory fade away.

Chavis and Cut were what held it together if folks would be honest about it.

I would think the older posters have a greater appreciation of Coach Fulmer. Younger posters only have his last few years as a reference.

I was watching this with my entire family when I was 11 years old. Everyone got pissed at me because I was jumping up and down and yelling so they couldn't see or hear the TV. A great memory of mine. Thank you Dallas Baker!!

I was there that glorious night!!!!! In that end zone to the far right, there were a bunch of gator fans in that end zone behind goal post. I had a stuffed gator with a rope noose around it's neck i bought in cookville on the way to game, I ran down there and was swinging it around and then stomped it the crowd of went fnnnn crazy!!!!!!!

true.i just hate that he could not turn it around and leave on his on terms.but.it is what it is.

Sadly, this is about the best memory as a younger Vol fan, even with the controversy surrounding the penalty/game clock incident.

That was right around the seats we had. I picked up a 70 year old lady and kissed her cheek. We were both jumping up and down and I just grabbed her. My favorite game of all time.
