So far perfect on field goals (23,37 and 45), extra points (17 for 17) and has had good distance on kickoffs. Yes there was a block against W. Ky.. But after all the hate shown against this kid the first three years he seems to finally be living up to his H.S. reputation. I know everyone I am just looking for positives and he seems to be a bright spot so far. Can anyone remember the last time someone handled all kicking duties?

he's probably getting correct coaching for the 1st time in college and
he's probably healthy for the 1st time also...

After the lofty expectations he had given his recruiting rankings, I'm glad to see the young man finally putting it all together.

I admire him for handling adversity and criticism to become a solid, productive member of this team. He is helping rebuild the program.

As hard as we've been on him, it's great to see him put it together. At this rate he might be the only 1st teamer we get at the end of the season. It looks like he will get plenty of opportunities to be featured.

Not to many kicker/punters out there, and he really seems to be handling it well now. I only hope that this double duty doesn't end up being to taxing on his leg.

Palardy's got his groove back!

CBJ made him kick in pressure situations and while being hosed, loud music etc. Dooley probably put him in a quiet room with noise cancelation head phones to practice.

He is a good example of how to keep on working. He has made a helluva jump this year.

I noticed he's getting some good trajectory on his field goals this season. Huge improvement. He definitely deserves a pat on the back.

Wilhoit said on TSR yesterday that the Dooley's staff had him working out too much and they thought he wasn't strong enough. Wilhoit offered to help out and Dooley said no. He said Palardy was always sore and that's why he was not kicking well last year. Worked on his mechanics in the off seasons and has improved.

I have to give the young man credit he has improved alot! I still have issues when I see high school kids routinely kick it in the back of the end zone and Palardy may or may not get it in the end zone on any given kickoff.
