The results of the NCAA are in. Like them or not, they could have been worse. Our beloved Volunteers finally have a great coach, and hope for future success.
Pruitt is history, just like butch and drooly, so please Vols fans - count your blessings and live in the now and watch eagerly for great things in the future. The nightmare is over!

The news just came out. I mean, literally a couple of days ago. Gotta give folks time to talk about it, process it, adjust to it.

And the forcing mechanism for us to move on is already in the works. It's called "fall camp." As soon as that arrives, folks will have something current to re-focus on.

In the meantime, let 100 threads bloom. Allow your fellow Vols fans some time to look over, under, inside and around every aspect of the ruling. They've been waiting long enough for it, that's for sure.

the thing is that this is.......oh maybe thread #20 or so......no thread will ever die before its time....Ive seen...digested....know essentially all anybody needs to know.....essentially no or minimal new threads that aren't this subject matter...Sadly Carnell Tates mother being shot and killed in Chicago

Most of it is the same info we've known for a year and a half being rehashed. It's just the way the world works though. It's only a huge talking point when it's in the news cycle.

it’s mid July. Not much to talk about. Fans can read about and talk about this all day for weeks and it won’t affect the upcoming season. I don’t need to be training or watching film. I’m sure the players aren’t consuming all this stuff and likely don’t care much about it. Those are the people that need to be focused. Fortunately for us all, the team’s success doesn’t depend on me.

"New" info. We've known about Darnell Washington for probably 2 years. The only New info was the texts and Fulmer's list, which I'll admit they were interesting. Idk why that means we need 12 threads talking about Pruitt's record and how he screwed us.

Yeah, I'm on a second grade reading level, so it's a struggle. The new info (texts) is a ton of info. You seem to suggest it's minor stuff. As for new threads, I totally agree in no need for so many of them. I still think the new info is compelling and worth discussing, just not in so many threads.

In hindsight, Pruitt didn't screw us. He unwittingly helped us finally get the program back where it belongs. It worked out great for us. I'll never have the ill will towards him as I do for Dooley or Butch.
