For the sake of conversation.... If LSU and UGA both make a coaching change at seasons end, who do they go after? I would think Gary Patterson would get a look by LSU. UGA would no doubt call Muschamp.

Who, if you were the AD of either school, would you call?

Damon Evans and Will Muschamp were teammates so that would probably be the first phone call followed probably by Kirby Smart at Alabama . . . but there's absolutely no chance Richt gets run at the end of 2010.

LSU's not about to eat the ridiculous contract they gave Miles to keep him from going to Ann Arbor. Why do I get a funny feeling each and every party involved would be happier right now if LSU had let The Hat go to Michigan and simply hired Rich Rod themselves?

Michigan fans may even be happier at the present moment, although that will change.

If Richt turns in another season like last year he very well could be gone. He could save himself by turning Bobo loose, although he shouldve done that last season when he fired Martinez. A loss to Tech in Athens could be the death blow for Richt.

Les, well, he's Les. LSU fans are calling for his head already. In my opinion they'll have to finish second, if not first (yeah right) for him to save his job. I think they'll finish 3rd, and cut ties with him.

UGAs move for a new coach is kind of obvious as posted earlier, should they make a change. LSU, on the other hand, doesn't have a glaringly obvious coach out there they could tap.

I think Ga is getting ready to fall in a deep hole much like we are experiencing except worse. MR consistantly gives 9-10 wins a year. Sure the knock is BCS games and SEC championships but it's hard to ask a new coach to give them more. It could be more of a turn off than an incentive to go there. Good news it benefits us

That would be the equivalent of bringing back Gerry DiNardo. I'd love to see it, but I don't think LSU is THAT stupid.
"We need someone to beat Nick Saban and Urban Meyer, so let's hire Jon Chavis."

Can't imagine that turning out badly.

Richt could lose his job if he has a horrid year IMO. Like 3-4 wins. Never going to happen, though.

dooley wont go anywhere next year. would love to see chavis at lsu (dont think it would happen) muschamp is going to live a long time in austin and be buried there when he dies so he isnt going anywhere
in the end when lsu finishes behind bama and arkansas and tied with auburn and they fire miles they will get rodriguez. miles then will be thinking it is good but michigan will want harbaugh. then when uga fires richt (not likely but possible) they will ask orgeron. he will come because of the great recruiting in GA but it will turn out way worse that the ole miss experiment.
