I am also very excited to see Tobias and John Fields too. I really want to see how Swiperboy and Hopson have progressed over the off season. It's really going to be an interesting and hopefully great season.

I'm really excited for this season to start too. I'm anxious so see Tobias play as well. I'm also really excited about Jordan. I want to see if he is a cross of J. Smith and Prince. If he is, he should be one fun player to watch.

Tobias is going to be a beast! I hope Hopson isn't a bust during the season though (seems like its been our luck with highly anticipated players)... Also, I'm curious to see how much hall and tatum have improved!

I think our season will come down to how much Tatum and Hall have improved, more so Hall. He has all the potential in the world.

Totally agree... Hall is one of my favorites! He has a lot of raw talent... now he just needs to polish it!

He is mine too. I love the may he has shown the ability to attack the glass for rebounds. I also love the way when he goes for a dunk, he dunks the ball, he just doesn't barley go with it, he slams it hard.

I thought Hall was disappointing last year. He started strong and seemed to regress as the year went on. Hopefully, he can develop some resemblance of a post game because athletically, he has the tools to be a solid player.

a tad undersized for his skill set. Athleticism helps mask some of it, but it's an issue if he doesn't develop some different game.

I agree. Currently, all Hall really has in the offensive arsenal is the ability to open up off the block and shoot a little jumper. I have yet to see him attempt a little jump hook, drop step, up and under, etc. He's going to score little to no points if he doesn't develop.

Im almost looking more forward to basketball than football.....ALMOST....but it should be one heck of a year for Tennessee hoops this year. I'm excited about Jordan...he played in the town I'm stationed in.....kid should be pretty good.....Tobias was the best player IMO at the McDonald's game before getting hurt....GO VOLS!!!

I saw where Melvin Goins increased his vertical leap by 5 inches from 36 to 41. To me, that seems like quite a bit.

23 regular season wins, sweet sixteen would be a good year.

Since we are talking basketball, I wanted to note that LSU and Auburn look to be at the bottom of the SEC again this year. Bo Spencer, arguably LSU's best player is transferring to Nebraska. Also, two of Auburn's top recruits are academically ineligible. You would think they would have taken care of academic issues before school started, or before they signed these individuals. I feel bad for AU's head coach because it leaves him in a very tough spot this year. On the other hand, this makes Tennessee's SEC schedule easier. I'm not sure why LSU does not have a consistent basketball program. Maybe A&M's and Baylor's rise in b-ball and locking down of the Houston and East Texas area has hurt LSU.

Guess we know why we weren't after the Auburn recruit that many of us thought we should try to sign. He would not have played for us anyway due to academic issues. Good move by our staff.
