So, with Clemson going down to Duke it got me thinking.
Are we starting to see an effect from the NIL deals? Is it pure coincidence that Bama, Clemson, Florida, Ohio State, etc seem to be more evenly matched with Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida State, Penn State, Ole Miss, etc?
At face value you’d believe the bigger schools such as Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, USC, would benefit from being able to openly pay players (or get them paid via donors), but that doesn’t appear to be what’s happening. To me, it seems like the playing field is leveling across the board. Thoughts?
