I don't know about you guys, but if we had the opportunity to be in their shoes I'd much prefer to celebrate with a cigar and some bourbon than breaking laws, destroying property, and acting like some kind of wild animal.

I'm not knocking Kentucky over this, just using the scanner as entertainment. I've never understood how destructive behavior factors into any celebration by any team.

This is very entertaining stuff. I get the couches and mattress fires, it's fun and rowdy. However burning houses, cars and others properties is a bit extreme.

Also the reports of shootings are a bit disturbing.

The cars (getting flipped or burned) tends to happen all too often following these things though. To name a few off the top of my head, it happened at Indiana and it's happened at Ohio State a few times (2001/02 when they made the BCS championship comes to mind; a car - or two - was flipped and set on fire - so they had extra security set up around the city in 2005/06 to take further precautions just in case).

The problem might tend to be that it just has a tendency to grow; once that "thrill" ends the desire's felt for something bigger, better to do it with.

Not sure about any of you, but if someone tried laying a hand on my car during something like this, I would make sure they don't remember the next few seconds after making that decision.

Agreed. Classless fan base is classless though. Par for the course.
