Check out this logic from Lawrence O'Donnell - sound familiar?

O'DONNELL: The Republican Party is saying that the president of the United States has bosses, that the union bosses this president around-the unions boss him around. Does that sound to you like they are consciously or subconsciously deliver the racist message that, of course-of course, a black man can't be the real boss?

That's out there, even for me!

O'Donell wasn't bad on Matthews' show. But now that he has that "Last Word" show, it feels like he is trying too hard to be Olbermann II.

I maintain a certain segment of the TP is motivated by racial animus, yes.

while at the same time insinuating that the entire TP movement is racist because it didn't exist during George "Whitey" Bush's administration.

no you claim it any time it's brought up. It's as ridiculous as the quotes in the OP

They aren't the same thing. That I think a segment of the TP is motivated out of hatred for Obama because he is black is not the same thing as saying that the entire GOP is claiming that Obama has to have "bosses" to function.

The first oneI see some objective evidence for in photographs and comments of that segment of the TP. The second is just hyperbole designed to create controversy. (Which is evidently working at some level).

That statement is just ridiculous.

seems pretty clear you believe that, but aren't willing to go full out with that opinion on vnation.

That a segment of the TP is racist? Sure.

(And by that I mean motivated in some way for dislike of Obama's skin color, ethnicity, etc.)
