For anyone who clicked on the link above, you read the rebuttal by Chaka Fattah.
I did a little research on Chaka and came up with the following.
Him and his whole family are a bunch of moslem nutcases.
Fattah is perceived as having his loyalities lie in Arab causes, and his family's history of civic activism' involving Black Nationalist groups like the National Black United Front which is linked to the Black Panthers Defense and the NOI. According to a bio of Fattah's mother, the family adopted the name because they did not want to "carry a slave name".
The name change indicates that Chaka Fattah's father was neither Arab nor Muslim.
On of the great travesties is that Cassius Marcellous Clay changed his name to Muhammed Ali.
Evidently his ancestors had a good grasp of history, CM Clay claimed (rightfully so) that he was the man most responsible for the ending of the institution of slavery in America.
Muhammed, whose first converts were his own slaves was responsible for more slavery than any man in history and many if not most of islams slaves were black Africans.
Many if not most of the black African slaves who ended up in the US (only about 5% of those who were exported to the Americas) passed through the hands of moslem slave traders.
To this day most islamic clerics so not condemn slavery and to this day black Africans live in a state of slavery, in Mauritania there are close to a million black Africans living as slaves.
Closer to home, the Fattah family has direct and troubling ties to Black Nationalist organisations. Fattah's mother, aka "Queen Mother Falaka", is the CEO of "The House of Umoja" a boys shelter which she runs with her husband David, a former gang member. Both the programs and the premises of the HOF is operate on the Afro Centric fraud perpetrated by Maulana Karenga the ex street thug turned crypto theologian who invented the hoax of Kwanzaa . A bio of Queen Mother Falaka on the HOF website informs us that it;
"operates on the principle of the extended family, guided by the African-American concept of Nguzo Saba, which provides a therapeutic methodology through which the lives of residents are successfully redirected
" As a tribute to our ancestors' cultural and educational ideals, the HOU began replicating in appearance and essence the ancient African city of Djenné on the 1400 block of Frazier Street. In its 37th year, the HOU is working to raise one-million dollars to complete this project

In addition to banks and corporate sponsors funders for the House of Umoja include the State of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia School District, and the Pennslyvania Department of Community and Development.
The biography also tells us that Queen Mother Falaka Fattah co- founded the National Black United Front, a radical Black Nationalist group affliliated with the Black Panthers, NOI the Pan African Movement, African National Congress, and the Truth Enterprise Institute whose webmaster disseminates anti semitic tracts . The NBUF is now officially designated as a "certified organisation of the Black Federation of Charities" .
The Seven Principles (of blackness) were created by Maulena Karenga and are derived from the pillars of Islam and even uses Islamic concepts such as Imani.
The pseudo religious principles put forth by ex felon Maulana Karenga promote black ethnocentrism and supremacism which are the fundamentals of Black Nationalism as practiced by violent groups like the NOI and Black Panthers. The House of Umoja's director Falaka Fattah's use of these 'concepts' fight gang violence, is one example of how the House of Umoja 'henhouse' is not only being guarded by, but is producing, more 'foxes'.
The National Black United Front (NBUF) chairman, Conrad Worill, who was described as "one of the elders of the struggle for the Black liberation and self determination" who became radicalized by the Black Power movement" is a poster boy of Black Nationalism.
Conrad Worill recently won an award at an event for the Black Panther Party for Self Defense where he was feted together with NOI leader Louis Farrakhan.
Incredibly, the NBUF is now receiving Federal funding, which means the Worill and the NBUF's campaigning on behalf of Jesse Jackson , his activitities with the NOI and TIE, and the group's attempts to shakedown the United States government for reparations' are being financed by the American taxpayers under the guise of a charitable enterprise.
Worrill is also a listed speaker at the Truth Enterprise Institute, an offshoot of the Nation of Islam whose homepage advertises the anti semitic book "The Synagouge of Satan". The webmaster for the TIE is Chabril Amilicar who is known as the author of "The Zionist Terror Network" which appeared on the Islamofacist Radio Islam site (dubbed the mother of all anti semitic websites) and copyrighted by the Institute for Historical Review which is a Neo Nazi white supremacist website. Amilicar is also the author of the notorious anti semitic track entitled "The Secret War Between the Blacks and Jews".
In 2000 Fattah and other US Congress members joined the radical Islamist organisation American Muslims for Peace and Justice to protest an end to sanctions on Iraq. Most of the groups involved are under law enforcement and U.S. Treasury scrutiny for terrorism funding. One of the sponsoring groups, The AMC - American Muslim Council, is now defunct after it's leader, Abulrahman Alamoudi was sentenced to 23 years in prison for terrorist related activities.
In 1999 Fattah took up the cause of Mumia Abu Jamal (together with Islamophile John Conyers) Jamal, a convert to Islam, was a Black Nationalist who 'executed' a 25 year old Philadelphia policeman by shooting him in the head on a city street.
Justice can only be served through a new trial for Mumia Abu-Jamal, concluded Congressmen Chaka Fattah and John Conyers, speaking on behalf of the entire 38 Member Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). Congressman Fattah, a Philadelphia Democrat, has been closely monitoring the Abu-Jamal case for almost two decades and has concluded that a new trial is necessary in order to carry out Abu-Jamal's constitutional right to due process. Congressman Conyers, the leading Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, agrees.
The House of Umoja operates according to the principles developed by Black Nationalist Maulena Karenga a convicted felon who invited the hoax holiday of Kwanzaa.
The House of Umoja has budget in the millions and they are receiving funding from such corporations and businesses as the Mellon Bank, The Citizens Bank, The PNC Bank, Kraft Foods, CBS 3, The City of Philadelphia, The Philadelphia School District and the Pennslyvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
NBUF was at the forefront of the Free South Africa Movement and played a leading role in forcing economic sanctions against South Africa's previous government.
