So what's the point?

Why are you differentiating MSM and FOX News? Aren't they one and the same?

Thank you for posting that.

i couldn't get the clip to work, but i saw last nite that o'reilly talked about this. i'm not sure what was said on the daily shows part, but o'reilly did say that it wasn't accurate. needless to say i didn't stay and watch the whole segment

The best part of the clip was Craig T. Nelson saying that when he was on welfare and food stamps he didn't get help from anyone.

I know what he was trying to say but I did find it to be funny. I think it hit Glenn Beck with that look on his face.

Maybe you should have seen the actual clips that went with what they spliced together on the Daily Show. Go to Bill O'Rielly and see the clips for yourself and see!

Just watched the O'Reilly segment.

He cherry-picked and addressed maybe...maybe...5% of the total Jon Stewart clip. Overall, Stewart painted an accurate representation of how Foxnews has changed it's tune on coverage between Bush and Obama. I would challenge O'Reilly and the Foxnews crowd to go through the Stewart skit one clip at a time and defend it, and I would bet they couldn't do it.

And KB, the commercial before watching the O'Reilly clip was nothing more than an excercise showing how Foxnews is fair and balanced (We report. You decide...etc), and claims to report news the MSM doesn't...clearly self-separating itself from the rest of the MSM. So if you think they really are part of the MSM no matter what they say than either they are being blantantly dishonest about what they say they report, or they are too stupid to realize it. Either way, their credibility takes a big shot.

As a side note, I would love to see something similar done with MSNBC and how they have changed. Any notion that either of these "news" organizations have been consistent since before and after the election is comically absurd.
