It's only four seasons!

Life in Pieces premiered on CBS on September 21, 2015 and concluded its run on June 27, 2019. It was canceled on May 10, 2019 following four seasons.

I thought dialogue was really funny. Especially the dad.
James Brolin! Yeah he surprised me! Thought he’d overdo it when first I started watching, but there were plenty of subtle hilarious deliveries.

The reactions from all the male characters! 🤣 Especially when Pop Pop was hospitalized for taking too much Viagra...”you’re not helping!”
Yeah it was funny, when they thought she was 17, they were trying not to creep but when he said she was 18 they went full bro code. Too funny. And when james had the viagra issue they shooed her away saying she isnt helping. The dialog was really funny.

Question did you all watch this during it's original run on CBS?
I did. It always ran during the summer, so it wasn’t in much danger of being cancelled. I think it just ran it’s course.

You'd be wrong based on ratings.

I just turned 40 and going back even to my HS years. I still watch more CBS shows than any other network outside the CW.
You are also an outlier, you watch more network tv than anyone this side of 75.

You made my point. I've seen where a show like this becomes popular on Hulu or Netflix.

I'm guilty of it as well with shows that have since become "cult" classics like Firefly or Jericho.

Had people watched it and it got better ratings during it's original network run it might still be on the air and not gotten cancelled following 1, 2 or 3 seasons etc...

Was the Firefly series better than that movie? Would have to be.
