‘We’re in the final days of white life in South Africa’ - Times Online

The subject of attacks on white farmers is deeply disliked by the ruling African National Congress for the unflattering comparisons that it brings with neighbouring Zimbabwe, but it has come to the fore since the murder of the white supremacist leader Eugène Terre’Blanche a month ago.

That incident followed a sharp deterioration in race relations after Julius Malema, the outspoken leader of the ANC’s Youth League, started singing at rallies an old anti-apartheid struggle song that includes the words “shoot the boer [farmer]”.

Two things wrong with the Times leftist spin:

1. Terre'Blanche was far less a supremacist than Mandela or the current president of South Africa, Terre'Blanche was a seperatist who called for a seperate country for the white farmers to live, and now we see how right is was.

2. To say the attacks on white farmers is disliked by the ANC is just an outright lie, they began as a terrorist organization and have not changed one iota, they killed more blacks in six years of rule than the apartheid government had in forty to achieve their dominance and the current ANC president sang a song of his own writing; "pass me my machine gun so I can kill one more white" during celebrations after winning the election.

And one more factoid for the ignorant, the claim that the whites stole the land from the blacks is just one more lie, the Dutch Boers were successfully farming their land fully a hundred years before the Zulus (who founded and dominate the ANC) ever arrived on the scene in their warlike genocidal migration south.

Zuma has faced 783 counts of fraud, racketeering, tax evasion and of corruption but has not been convicted in corrupt court system.

Land in crisis

40,000 farmers in South Africa

3,000 farmers murdered since the end of apartheid

800,000 white South Africans out of a total of 4.4 million have emigrated since 1995

200,000 hectares of abandoned farmland has been leased by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo to farmers fleeing South Africa

87% of agricultural land was owned by whites at the end of the apartheid era

30% of land must be in black hands by 2014, if government targets for land reform are to be met

2% of land has changed hands so far, with funds for further purchases having dried up and a corruption inquiry under way

20% of South Africans of all races want to emigrate, with 95 per cent of those naming violent crime as the single most important factor

BTW, Zimbabwe had over a million acres of available farmland for people who may have wanted to farm without evicting anyone but Mugabe just had to show the whites who was boss and now for the most part that confiscated land lays idle as does most of the confiscated land in South Africa, if the land doesn't go to corrupt government officials it goes to people who just don't have the know how to farm on a commercial scale.

Man. Not gonna lie, I don't know much about the topic. Sounds as crooked as everything else. So they are trying to forcably take land and redistribute it? On what premise?

Know-how, or financial resources? Or both?

Race.

Constant marxist and muslim agitation, just as they do here in America, keep emotional turmoil to the fore.

Mines and Communities: Why Black Economic Empowerment should be abolished - Mbeki

Black Zimbabweans to take control of white-owned companies - Telegraph

Then too you have a derelick media that covers for egregious crimes in the name of political correctness.

A good example is the comparison of sensational media coverage of the false accusations against the Duke lacrosse team vs the the rape/murder/dismemberment of the two UT students or the two VT students who were most likely murdered by muslims. (rumor has it the VT couple who were involved in Campus Crusades were beheaded but I can't substantuate that, a tight lid has been placed on that case.)

Know-how, or financial resources? Or both?

Both to some extent but even with adequate financial resources many of the new owners don't have the experience to keep cropland productive or the knowledge to perform routine maintenance and/or repairs to equipment, so before long they don't have the equipment, such as irrigation pumps and tractors, that can perform the necessary tasks.

What we have is a 'fools rush in' mentality (very much displayed by the current regime in Wahsington) that even if the end result could be desirable, a certain amount of preparation is required and that hasn't happened and isn't likely to happen either.

Some 90% of farms redistributed to South Africa’s black population from white farmers are not productive, the government has said.

And that bit of crap about 'being left impoverished by apartheid' is a load, they were impoverished before apartheid and the only ones who prospered were those who chose to try to work with the whites, many of those were murdered by Winnie Mandela and the ANC henchmen in a most brutal way, so as to intimidate any other blacks from any sort of cooperation and mutual accomplishment with white people.

At least responsible South Africans had the foresight to completely dismantle the South African nuclear arsenal before allowing the rule fell into the hands of the murderous marxist inspired ANC who had substantial help for Muammar Khadaffi.

Remember Khdaffi?? He remains close to Obama, Wright and Farrakhan who all share the same seditious goals.

goofed. Didn't want to quote the whole thing. Delete.

Another thing:

Usually, African farm acquisitions involve financially-muscled companies from the oil rich Arab countries with no arable land back at home come to the continent to buy or lease big chunks of land to grow food for their citizens.

“About one-quarter of these investments are for biofuel plantations,”

I believe I can safely say that one of, if not the richest man in the county where I reside is a Pakistani.

Note too, in the link below the spokesman for Jacob Zuma's son has an Arabic muslim name!!!

Just because you don't know about islamic influence in sub-Sahara Africa doesn't mean it doesn't exist or is not strong, well entrenched and has been there for quite some time, they do an excellent job of maintaining a low profile and anonymity when they care to.

Nigeria gives away their farmland to Arab investors

Farming in America:

According to the EPA, 3,000 acres of productive U.S. farmland are lost to development every day.
(that stat probably doesn't include federal land grabs of dubious merit that force ranchers off traditional grazing grounds) (the EPA itself has probably run as many small farmers out of business as anyone.)

Between 1974 and 2002, the number of corporate-owned U.S. farms increased by more than 46 percent.

Between 2005 and 2006, the US lost 8,900 farms (a little more than 1 farm per hour)

Every week 330 farmers leave their land.

Of the two million remaining farms, only 565,000 are family operations.

I believe that is Zuma's fifth wife just in front of him.

Among the many charges Zuma has faced, I forgot to menion rape.

Idi Amin destroyed Uganda by taking land from whites and did nothing with it. Mugabe is doing the same in Zimbabwe. No reason to think that the 3rd time is gonna be the charm in South Africa...

It's a shame Amin was never prosecuted for his crimes and was able to live in splendor protected by islamic regimes and buried with honors in Saudi Arabia and unholywood has even made a movie that for the most part glosses over his brutal reign of islamic terror, calling it 'the last king of Scotland.'

Didn't work for Stalin either.

It's hard to believe such barbarity ever existed.

(It is amazing that a man could be elected president of the USA who gave his children Russian names to honor such men as are discussed in the above linked article, I woudn't put anything past him and can't see how anyone would trust him for a even a millisecond.)

As a matter of fact FDR's cooperative farms were a dismal failure also and for the most part have been written right out of American history books.

In November 1933, the United States, under its new president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, even chose to formally recognized Stalin's Communist government and also negotiated a sweeping new trade agreement.
...............................

By the end of 1933, nearly 25 percent of the population of the Ukraine, including three million children, had perished. The Kulaks as a class were destroyed and an entire nation of village farmers had been laid low.

Most people give Ronald Reagan credit for bringing about the break up of the Soviet Union but in reality it was the common working man, especially the farmers that bankrupted the Soviet Union.

The Soviets were dumping as much grain as possible on the international market to try to bankrupt the American (Rhodesian, South African and any other free people also) farmer but the average Soviet farm worker knew that he wouldn't be allowed more than enough food to barely survive the next winter, if that, and knew that communist apparatchnik farm inspecters wouldn't muddy their shiney boots inspecting the fields so they plowed well near the edges of huge fields than raised their plow a bit each round they made and when they got to the middle of the field they were running in high gear with the plow point barely dragging the surface.

The first year after the break up of the soviet communist system the crop yield was by far the highest yield since 1917, there was so much grain there wasn't sufficient storage facilities to handle it and much of it was piled in huge stacks, some covered with tarps until they ran out of tarps, a lot of it ruined during the next winter but the farmers had plenty of bread to eat for a change.
-----------------------------------------------

Mugabe has now grown a small mustache that looks much like that of Adolph Hitler and has given shelter and protection to Mengistu for 19 years now.

Mengistu has a Zimbabwe government diplomatic passport but has a death sentence hanging over him in Ethiopia because of his murder of hundreds of thousands of his countrymen during his "Red Terror" reign from 1974 to 1991.

Mengistu's four children are not ordinary refugees either. They are full Zimbabwean citizens and travel the world on their passports issued on Mugabe's directive.

If you're lucky enough to escape the indiscriminate rage unleashed during a bloody reign of terror, the rest of your days are likely to be haunted by the ghosts you left behind.
