E.S.P.N. has a article about how South Carolina is allowing Garcia to workout. As if anyone did not think he would be part of the Ole Ball Coaches team this year. Go Big Orange & Happy Memorial Day too all.

Big surprise - chance #10 and counting takes effect. Stevie Superior will never change. You can't spell sucks without a u, s, and c.

The suspension is BS. Ole Ball Coach will figure out a way to play him. His latest issue is he embarrassed the ADs wife or something. Maybe he mooned her. He will play. Book it.

I'd love it if Couch or Hughes laid him out a couple of ten times this year, maybe J. Smith blindsides him from the end and "accidentally" decapitates him, hey I can dream.

I want to see him play just like the next UT fan, but if janzen jackson plays this year (hell, the fact that he played last year) it shows that CDD is willing to make exceptions to. If you were an SC fan, who would you want on the field?

Except for keying a car one time, garcia really never has done anything all that
bad.

Um, yeah, Garcia has had way more "one more chance" than JJ.

You can try and count up the number of one more chances that Garcia has had compared to JJ if that makes you feel better (I would argue JJ has gotten just as many chances as Garcia, and JJ's indiscretion are worse . . . . accomplice to armed robbery, drugs . . . they just haven't been in the public eye as much), but neither are the kind of person you want on your team if you are trying to do things the "right" way, as CDD claims.

My point is simply that exceptions are made for talent, and CDD is no exception to that.

Steve will not let his chances at a conference title be taken from him. SC has an excellent chance to relevant this year in the SEC.

Garcia will have to really step in it and kick it around over the next few months to not be the starter at SC...

It's "Revelance Now" for the old ball coach.

IMOPards.

Once again, you don't even know what JJ's situation is so your comment above is meaningless. With Garcia, while we don't know all the details, the USCe administration has pretty much been involved so it must be something quite serious that impacts both inside and outside the football program. We also know his misconduct is repetitive. Garcia suspended indefinitely - Football - GoGamecocks.com

JJ hasn't behaved the same except that Pilot Gas stop incident. Rumors have abounded but nothing is known by the public and we don't hear anything about the UT administration being involved. Which implies his situation doesn't impact the university proper but is what we've been told, a personal matter. Which could be anything from an illness or family related issue to uncertainty as to whether he even wants to continue playing football or not. Dooley has shown if a player isn't going to accept guidance, he's gone. That includes talent. Darren Myles was a talent the coaches wanted to keep. But he couldn't exhibit common sense to stay away from trouble. I seriously doubt Dooley would play pattycake with talent the way Spurrier does and Meyer did. Dooley gives you a chance to straighten up and fly right, you mess up again, you're gone. Garcia has a 5 year old history of messing up and getting new chances. JJ doesn't. I do suggest you refrain from your judgments on JJ or any of our players until and unless you actually know what you're talking about.

Ten? You haven't a clue what you are talking about. Aside from vandalizing a car, SG has done nothing that is near as bad as many of you think it is. Try being informed next time.

Garcia has faced Spurrier's wrath. He is not a thug, thief, or drug addict. He did key a car one time. His latest episode involved making fun while at a mandatory "Life Coaching" session on feel good, warm fuzzy, motivation. He didn't want to be there. I probably wouldn't want to be there either. He got slapped down for it. Whoopee. Playing QB for Spurrier is a tough position. Give him a break.

Being an immature drunk 1 time is excusable but 5 times in the time he has been there in the position he is in is not. BTW He knew what kind of coach spurrier was before he got to USCjr.

Did you not learn your lesson in that idiotic thread you created criticizing SG for graduating? You continue to miss the point.

Time will tell the tale. I'm not really up in arms about anything, regarding Garcia.

If you took it as me criticizing Garcia for graduating then you would be the idiot. It seems like he's been there 10 years & he's in trouble everytime he turns around.
