Pulled his quad on his 2nd AB. Most likely will miss tomorrow also. Only a slight pull. After a few days rest he will be good to go.

probably offered pitching advise to Todd? :)

Maybe you should apply for the job. You are critical without offering anything other than Raleigh should be fired. Your insight is dazzling!

One was to hire or retain an excellent, experienced pitching coach (AND THEN ACTUALLY LISTEN TO HIM)

How did that work out?

Again, since YOU think Corral was excellent, and you have only complaints and no solutions, please enlighten us all as to who you suggest our coaching staff should consist of. Make your answer more intelligent than " Nobody with any ties to Clemson ". Thanks on advance. Lol.

Hobock....is Liles' injury still slowing him? Didn't play today at all

Yeah it's still the same quad. He has been trying to play after only resting it for a day or two. It needs more rest and therapy to fully heal,

The fact that it was cold and wet made things even worse. Add to that how much more of a risk for injury there is on a sloppy, wet outfield... Nothing new wrong with him, just being extra careful, just like they were with Gruver this weekend. What we do in the SEC will determine what direction the ship is headed, so they're saving players for that.

Thanks again DeerPark...I completely somehow forgot about the nasty weather yesterday...that's smart to rest him and Gruver...I'm more concerned with McCray...I really think Liles should bat 2nd over Norfork

Despite what someone wrote on another board, I'm still hearing Gruver and McCray are day-to-day and there aren't any long-term concerns. Certainly that could prove to change if both continue feeling tightness, but I don't believe that there is any real concern right now.

Liles definitely came out due to the conditions. The outfield was a wet mess, especially on Sunday. The rest was needed for the quad.

Liles had an MRI on the quad. There is a very small tear. He is day-to-day, will probably rest the leg until the weekend.

Liles is still day to day according to Raleigh. There wasn't much reason for him to play tonight but I expect to see him this weekend.

Hobock....seems like Liles' injury isn't getting any better at all....he's only started 12 of 20 games this year....we could really use him with how PATHETIC the hitting is....seems like he's injured a lot....had the injury last year too
