Lincoln Memorial Univesity in Championship Game

LMU, in Harrogate, has made it to the NCAA DivII championship game by defeating West Liberty University 103 to 102 in the Final Four. It was a fun game to watch with both teams showing amazing firepower. Knoxville's Jalen Steele started strong but was hampered by an injury in the second half. Championship will be played Saturday at 3:00 on CBS.

Don't disagree with the defense comment. But that was some display of offense by both teams, especially in the first half. I believe that was the hottest shooting I've seen in awhile. Augustana will have to score 90 to hang with LMU.

What's the word on Jalen's injury? Anyone know? Is he going to be able to play today?

Hate they come up short today. Was this the 1st time that LMU has ever made the championship game?

I went to the game. It was a good game, but LMU was only 9/18 on FTs, and Augustana was very efficient offensively, often getting good looks near the rim. Augustana also had a larger, louder cheering section.

I think I read that they have now reached the finals in two sports but have never won a national title in anything.

I've seen them several times this year and it's the worst game I've seen them play. But give Augustana props. They came to play. Great season for the Splitters.
