Lindsay Lohan lightly struck another vehicle with her own car early Wednesday morning, police confirm.

"Early this morning, it appears Lindsay Lohan was cornered in a narrow parking lot by paparazzi and she grazed another vehicle in her attempt to get away," Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Richard French tells PEOPLE.

"Officers responded, and when they got there the owner of the car said there was no injury or damage to his vehicle. This is an extremely minor case."
