Line for UT-A&M is 4

I never pull for Bama in sports against anyone but I would prefer A&M not look great today, just good. I know the other thought is A&M wins and comes into next Sat ranked and we beat them.

Be interesting to see what the line changes to should A&M beat the tide by a couple of scores.

I dont ever cheer for Bama either (and I hope Florida loses in every single sport.....I dont care if it's a chess tournament) but if they could please eeeek out an emotional, back and forth, 9 OT win so that A&M comes in lethargic and demoralized next week.........I'd be appreciative.

I hope A&M curb stomps Bama, but I don’t see it happening. I fell for that narrative last week with Ole Miss.

On the flip side, I’ll pull for Bama over Georgia and Florida every time.

Doesn’t really matter who wins as far as us playing highly ranked teams. Whichever team wins will move up and the loser will move down. We play them both so no real difference.

Teams with elite talent that always underperforms.

I like our chances against A&M at home.

We will find out next Saturday. I’m concerned as this is the best defense thus far TN has faced. They get pressure with front four allowing them to disguise coverages which could confuse Joe.


Our defense must play lights out and frustrate their QB. Vols by four.

AP found a way to justify moving us from 21 to 22 after we murdered USCjr. It think for this game, though, you would likely be correct. However, if A&M beats Alabama and then loses to us in a close game, AP may not move them down because they beat Bama and lost to us on our home turf. Who knows these days.

We don't need Bama to lose when they play anyone in the East except us. Obviously that won't matter after this year, but there are always exceptions to the rule.

I can respect that.. A solid defensive front 4 is what won Eli Manning both of his super bowls.

If they end up beating Bama, it really doesn’t change my opinion. Bama is looking more and more beatable. UT at home is a TOUGH out for any team under Heupel and I absolutely love it ✌️ 🍊

If we can get to their QB then we should win this game. It may be a lower scoring game settled by turnovers and/or special teams.

Maybe because we've not played a decent team yet? I think some fans are a little reserved in their enthusiasm until they see Joe Milton and UT play a complete game against a solid SEC opponent and get the win.

Not impressed with either today, they both looked like us versus Florida. Kentucky showing what they really are at the moment .... 💩

If we used this bye to heal up, refocus, and prep for a big week of practice we have a great chance to run the stretch.
