A "writer" should try to avoid making a typo in his spammed thread headline.

I don't worry about people pointing out my mistakes ...they are right, I should hold myself to a high standard. There isn't an "edit" ability on the thread head, though.

Perhaps my typo confused him....

Seriously, if someone is gonna make a deal outta that, you got to wonder what kind of life they have. Probably not good, and they probably complain about a lot of little things in life.

I feel bad for folks like that, because it's an indication they aren't happy -- that's why the need to point out others' shortcomings.

Obviously, he's very busy:

Thanks, but...

Not an attack. Just a response. Letting folks know I'll take criticism when deserved.
It's just an indicator when people nitpick. Sometimes, people don't know how small they look, or how easy it is to psychoanalyze them....I minored in Psychology, and reading people is a big part of my job.
Lie down on the couch, and tell me your problems....:hi:

Psychology was actually one of my two pre-med majors. I can assure that a minor (or major, for that matter) in Psychology by no means gives you the ability to psychoanalyze anything. Your post only confirms that.

But I use my psych background every day -- and deal with a lot of different people and hear all their problems. Then I see the approaches the coaches give them to fix their problems, and I see what works, and what doesn't.

I really wasn't trying to start an argument. It was just a lesson I learned in high school English that misspelled words and sloppy appearance are quick ways to lose credibility. I'll move on.

If your "psych background" helps you, then you must've gotten a much better education than I did at UT. Unless your title ends with "Ph.D." or "M.D.," I don't put much faith in Psychological prowess. I'm guessing that your experience and relationships with sports figures over the years is what you have to thank.
