Living Near Cape Canaveral

I’ve applied for a procurement job with NASA and looking at either Houston or Kennedy Space Center. Anyone live near there with info on good areas near Cape Canaveral (have 2 kids, 1 in school, other daycare)?

Have you seen a SpaceX launch AND booster return, yet?

Oveido is in Seminole county which has a great school system. It would be a 45-1hr drive to Cape Canaveral every day. Not sure about anything closer to the coast. I know the school system in Orange county is mediocre.

I don't live near either, but curious are you a government employee in the acquisition career field?
