Alright DC boys... how bad is it gonna be Friday night? :D

LA destroyed Pickett County by 36, and they beat ya'll pretty handily.

LA just beat Cookeville tonight by two, and played two other triple A team's pretty close this year.

DeKalb is supposed to be LA's main competition in the district this year... so what about it? :D

I wasn't there, but I listened to the second half on the radio.

It wasn't that close. LA pulled out to an 11 point lead in the 3rd quarter, but DC hung around. LA hit 8 three pointers while DC couldn't seem to hit free throws.

man im gonna love the look on LA's face when Dekalb beats them in the district championship, Dekalb is a young team and only gonna get better, Woodward is gettin better every game and already becoming a star, free throws killed the Tigers tonight, LA's head coach is pretty full of himself, said they was gonna beat the Tigers by 20+ and was gonna shut down Randolf and Hooper (we all know how that went) Randolf 20 points Hooper 16

but its gonna be great when Dekalb beats them in the District Championship

Please enlighten me to as when Melton ever said anything to you or anyone about LA beating DC by 20 points. Obviously Smithville has some great media resources, because that news didn't even make ESPN...

LA plays a very physical game which forces teams into bad shots... I guess that was why DC couldn't make free-throws as well.

Cates and Tyler Livingston are just now getting back into basketball shape and DC won't be within 10 points at the end of the game in Livingston.

DC is probably the second best team in the District... but they're not on LA's level this year, or the next few years actually with all of the young talent that LA has that is already contributing in Dunn, Ramsey, and Smith.

They couldnt make free throws cuz they wasnt focused, if u wanna talk about being physical LA's players was the ones that kept gettin knocked down, if there not on there talent level i guess thats why LA only beat them by 3, as for enlightening you I overheard yalls coach talkin to one of the players father

LA stretched the lead to over 10... DC is a scrappy team and hung in there, but no, they're not on LA's level. LA is in the midst of a great run of athletes in all sports right now.

As for Melton, eh, confidence never hurts. It's his job as a coach to enstill that into the players.

Why wasn't DC focused, anyway?

Ok let me rephrase that, yeah LA has more depth than DC so if you wanna look at it that way yeah they are more talented, but DC's starting 5 is pretty dang good, just as good if not better than LA's they did jump on them pretty early, but DC has no depth because several players quit, we will see how good those athletes are when baseball gets here, DC is gonna pretty much be untouchable in there district, im serious about that to, this is prolly there best team ever, and they have had several very good teams, i went and watched them in fall ball and they was very good killing Warren Co and Sparta every game they played

LA's baseball team definitely underachieves yearly, I see no reason why the upcoming season should be any different.

They made a run a couple years ago... but other than that, duds. Too many guys that think they're Andruw Jones or Barry Bonds...

The Lady Cats always manage to blow a big lead. They were leading Clay County earlier in the year by about 25 in the THIRD QUARTER and held on to win by only 3 points. I didn't catch any of last night's game but I'd almost bet it was the same kind of situation. All kinds of talent, but no real killer instinct. Mullins is a frickin' bull in a China shop out there... doesn't help that the last group of girls that Bobby Gore had any influence on whatsoever were also the last LA team to win it all in 2003/2004... hmm.

...and about baseball, I didn't follow it much in high schooll, nor do I care much about college baseball. If they were to get rid of the aluminum bat I might however reconsider...

actually believe it or not LA never had a big lead, it was close the whole game, if Mullins is that big blonde haired girl she wasnt to much of a bull last might big Paige Bass derupted her somehow
