Ok I went from shocked, pissed, hurt etc for Lane leaving but now kind of glad he is gone. I think he would have done good things here but the remarks he made upon leaving showed that he was not totally committed.

That is a travesty if true. CLK does NOT deserve to earn $4 million a year.

Yup.....hard to blame a guy for taking a $2M raise if you really think about it.

After Eddie Gran left, I told my boss that if someone double my pay for the same position, I'm gone. He couldn't blame me.

if that's true, then well I really can't blame him. his annual salary at knoxville was $2 million a year right?

Threw up a little in my mouth upon reading that an unaccomplished slug merits $20 million over 5 years from USC. ut was overly generous in the deal they gave him. And people thought that AIG's people were overpaid to the point of criminality. Congress should investigate monte's kid or at least we should see the incriminating pictures he has on Garrett and/or Hamilton.

IMO, usc's NCAA compliance officer should be getting at least that much. Good luck with that.
