Local prospect picks Kentucky

If he goes pro it's a moot point. Kentucky did have a decent program a few years ago

this is kind of odd. I know if it were me, as much as I love the Vols, I'd probably go with LSU or Az St. Their programs are too good to pass up.

This - unless USCe called like they did for Wil Crowe in Pigeon Forge.

Why is it that the whole nation knows that east TN is a hotbed for baseball except for the UTAD until they finally hired a real head coach in Serrano?

Kentucky has this weird karma voodoo thing in Blount County right now. A relative of mine is a student-athlete there now but this is a case where there are apparently 10 schools with far better reputations, facilities, records, fan bases and the like than Kentucky in baseball.

Again, it may not matter as he appears to be angling for the draft, but Kentucky? Really?

If my son were playing ball and was getting offers form these teams, I would be freaking all over GaTech for the education (If I could not get him to UT of course) but LSU, ASU, AZ.

Perhaps UK offered a full schollie and piece of the basketball team's thoroughbred at Keeneland?

Was he holding out for Marshall?
