I'm fine with locking down the top 5 or so players in state, but there are plenty of more talented players to be signed from outside the state.

In the 90s and early 2000s, they came from everywhere.

Sounds like they are shoring up a less than top shelf cycle in TN so they can expand out after that. I agree talented players need to come from anywhere, but always stings a bit more when I see a player from TN killing it in the championship game/playoffs.

Agree 100%. When Tennessee was at the top they had the #1 recruiting budget in the nation. Currently uga has that distinction and look where they're at.
