Locksley to New Mexico State

So we can say goodbye to Illinois' program. The Big Ten is that much weaker.
What you can say goodbye to is the myth that Locksley is worth a damn as a coach. Lobo fans will be clamoring for the return of Rocky Long after three years of what they're about to get.

Locksley is a very good Offensive Coordinator, I have been watching him for 4 years now, and he has done a very good job with what he has been given. The whole Head Coaching thing will not work out for him though. If he were to have waited one more year, with Juice, Benn, Fayson, and a more experienced offensive line teams like Wyoming, Bowling Green, or even Maryland/Boston College type would be drooling over him.

Do you think Zook will keep getting recruits? I find it hard to believe he will not take a hit in that area.

Does it really matter? In all seriousness, Zook has always been a top notch recruiter. My guess is that portion of his program will be fine. The problem is that it's a horrible tactical staff.
