They are pitiful. They talk about how the refs gave us the game. They got to the point where they were so frustrated they talked about how Bruce was sweaty. Man I am glad I am not a KY fan, this is all they have.. its a sad day for kentucky.

The refs had many bad calls against UT as well but of course they do not see those.

Vols beat them fair and square, and Calapari will never have bruce pearls number.

not to rain on your parade or anything but all fan bases will do this..including the Vols. I think it was a fair game but don't you think everyone laughs at us when we do the same thing. They had tremendous desire and effort out there tonight which is the only dictation of when we win and lose.

Go Vols Show effort like that more often!

yeah the refs miss calls a lot! but they are on both teams. I saw the same stuff at the Vandy game earlier this year at TBA but this time we stepped up and didn't quit. Also the offense Kentucky runs is meant to draw fouls..

Only a couple weeks left in Kentucky fans lives. After they get eliminated in sweet 16 they can take their yearly beatings in every other sport.

It will be beautiful when consecutive football wins 25 and 26 both come at the hands of first-year coaches.

Well dang - I wonder why no ones else has ever thought of running such a masterful and intelligent offense that tries to get the ball to the basket and draw fouls. Cal is truly a pioneer.

not saying that at all. the point was that on many possessions they drive the lane at the big man to draw the foul. Yeah sure you're not out of line at all at saying that is a good strategy however there are other ways to do it.

The Dribble drive motion that Cal uses is the same that Coach Walberg used at UMASS where the offense spreads their players in the half court, so that a guard (John Wall) can drive through the defensive gaps for a layup or dunk, or pass out to the perimeter or interior(Cousins) if the defense collapses onto him.(a very effective way to draw fouls)

Certain Offenses like the Flex that CBP uses is a continuity offense where no player plays a certain role (or every player is interchangeable).(an offense that causes a lot more fouls away from the ball because of all the cuts and motion but not a lot near the basket because its designed to get a wide open cut to the basket)

thats just the point I attempted at making. (very poorly at first I suppose) Sorry for the confusion.

Kentucky fans are the most demanding, loyal, and intelligent fans in America. You guys know it. Proud to be a member of the Big Blue Nation! Can't wait for the SEC and NCAA tournament.

The intelligent comment is patently absurd. It's freaking Kentucky.

Odd that you pull for UT football. That's some serious pride you have.

Prepare for disappointment then. The 8th man can only take you so far.

Kinda hard for them to really argue about the refs giving someone the game when the same refs made sure to call 6 fouls in less than 2 minutes on their opponent

You just proved you have no intelligence by making such a comment.

As for Tennessee football, I have respect for them, but that is waning thanks to fans like yourself. I do know this; basketball coaches don't leave Kentucky for other college basketball jobs. The same clearly cannot be said for Tennessee football. You have a good program. Not great, good.

So where would you rank Kentucky's football program? Didn't Eddie Sutton leave for Oklahoma State?

I keep hearing this "most intellingent" comment thrown around by Kentucky people. I've spent a fair amount of time reading Kentucky message boards and I can only assume you aren't referring to your message board posters with this comment?

I wasn't talking about the greatness of our program. You were, as usual, talking about your silly vicarious pride in KYs great program. You even went so far as to tell us how intelligent your fanbase is, which is just stupid. Statistically, there is no freaking way; none, zero, nada, zilch, nein, zippo that the KY fanbase is any more intelligent tha that of say...anyone.

I'll be very upset if I run another frontrunner off. How badly you'll be missed by Vols.

Yeah, Eddie "left" Kentucky.....with a boot up his butt.

Only for being caught in carrying on the traditions of his predecessors. The lore of KY basketball would look different without the absolute willingness to ignore any and all rules.

Keep 'em coming. I ain't going nowhere. Kentucky's basketball program is the best in the history of college basketball. Everyone knows that.

Tennessee is among the elite too, it just happens to be in girls sports.

Everyone knows that? Please. Everyone also knows that KY is THE serial cheaters of the D1 basketball world.

I assure you that bashing UT does nothing to me. I don't have misplaced pride in college sports teams. I wanna win, but I'm not out to brag about it. See, I'm not gonna be caught anywhere talking about idiotic crap like our fanbase brilliance or our greatness. Frankly, it's sad as all hell.

And you said you were leaving, not me. I don't give a crap what you do. I find silliness like that above very entertaining. Makes me feel good about myself.

You might want to change your name to TrueYellow so as to match your team's jersey.
