He ran off Lockwood this past year...thru 17 games at Carson Newman he's hitting .430 with 10 HRs and 25 RBIs...guess he wasn't a real "gorilla baller"

Add Gomes and Lima to this list of ran off players too

I'm not defending Raleigh. He has " run-off " quite a few quality players. Evidently you don't know the details surrounding Lockwood's early departure. Jeff had ALOT of "chances" before his demise.

Not saying he can't play or anything, but some of the teams Carson-Newman is playing would make anybody with half an ounce of talent look good. I work in Mount Olive, where a lot of these same teams come every year to get slaughtered by Mount Olive College.

To me, the bigger indictment of Raleigh's "coaching" is that we even have reason to lament that some guy got run off to Carson-Newman and we don't have anyone comparable to fill his position.

I wonder if Raleigh's team could actually beat Carson-Newman? The fact it's not a silly question says all you need to know about Raleigh.
