Talked so much trash about UT smoking UNCA and there's about 3 minutes left UK up by 40 with Wall and Patterson coming back in the game and they are chucking up 3's lol. Shhh to any Kentucky fan that mentions your starters minutes during this blowout and talks about a press. Smh @ Cal and his comments

The way they have been playing defense, they need all the practice they can get.

Well, they just beat them 94 - 57, but that's the same NC Asheville team the Vols beat 124-49. UT beat them by 75, but KY could only beat them by 37. I like that differential. :rock:

lol. I don't care about the point difference but I do like how they played their starters longer than we did.

Postgame comments from the unca players, who compared Tenn. And Ky. They said that both were good teams worthy of their ranking but Kentucky was better.

Could be that he knows that UK is ranked #4 and we're ranked #11

Could be that it makes them look like they have greatly improved. looks a lot better if they claim they gave the better team the better game.

Exactly. The difference, which obviously flew directly over the OP's head, is that this is still a team of freshman who collectively have played 6-8 games together. Big difference, when compared to a team of seniors.

However, this is not calling out UT for running up the score. To each his own, every coach has reasons for doing what they do.

When you play everybody throughout the game, which is what UT did, the starters are going to get minutes in the 2nd half. Bruce just waited until the last 3 minutes to play walk-ons. We were up 83 with 2 minutes left.

Right. Every team has kinks to work out, rotations to ponder, evaluations to be made. I don't see a huge problem with it really.

Reminded me of the time we scored 86 in the first half against LSU. Everyone was screaming to play subs, and we did. It just turned out our subs were still able to hang points on them. Of course, LSU is a little difference than NC-Asheville.
