Ex-Rutgers Coach Mike Rice Apologizes for His Mistakes: 'I've Changed' - ABC News

C'mon man. WAY to early to declare that your whole life has changed. Any team that picks this dude up is asking for it.

"I won't be perfect moving forward, but I've changed," Rice told "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts in an interview for ABC's "20/20." "Having that taken away, your dream job...and having it done in such a visible way...and hurting the people closest to me...it changes a person."

Give him a chance. Maybe he just realized how bad that was. Certainly he shouldn't coach anytime soon, but don't judge him to quickly again.

Still claims that he's never abused any of his players.

From the video that I've seen, I beg to differ.

haha man...this dude is an idiot. You don't treat kids like that. I'm all for some hard discipline but this guy was ridiculous. He should never get to coach again IMO.

Bobby Knight was given lots of leeway in his days at IU but that was before video cameras on cellphones.

If someone "changes" what does that mean in how one treats human beings? or in how one coaches players?
