The past few years have turned me numb. I'm honestly not upset. I somehow sensed this is how it would go down.

I have started to become more of an NFL fan every Sunday to heal my wounds

It was correct to give them the first down, but it is very hard to celebrate a game-winning play and then have to go back out there.

Not remotely comparable to those games. Since we almost got a cheap win handed to us on a bad spot.

Are you kidding? Yes he "probably got it" but you can't go on "probably" with replays. It's kind of the rules. Saw a play just like that in the lsu/A&m ge it it stood because you couldn't see the ball. But yeah we played like poo anyways.

I disagree.

Why? Replay was used correctly to make the correct call. It just so happened to go against us. Our offense squandered chance after chance. We had the ball on their 13 and ended up with our kicker throwing an interception on a fake field goal attempt on 4th and 19.

It was used wrong. Can't go off "probably".

It's fitting that these seniors go out the way things have gone all 4 or 5 of their years at UT. Maybe now we can move on.

How was it used wrong? Samuels was clearly over the first down line. Were you watching the game? Yes, it sucks. But I'm never going to fault the refs for making the right call. Maybe our defense could have covered their only weapon the plays after that. Maybe our players should not fold when something bad happens...and it often does. Maybe our offense should try and look like something more than a HS team vs. a college team every once in awhile. All of those things played into this loss more than the refs using replay to correct a clearly incorrect call.

Lol you're not listening. You couldn't see the ball. Period. You have to see the ball cross the line. You can't just assume it did because the player did. That's not correct usage.

I said it wasn't comparable to the UNC and LSU games. I don't think they should've overturned it by rule, but go back and watch that replay, that spot was off by almost a whole yard. True, you can't see the ball, but when a players entire upper body is beyond the line, it's ridiculous to act like he was a half yard short. This team was embarrassing tonight. I wish we had won because of that spot, but I'm not gonna be mad at the refs for correcting a ****ty spot.
