...it's like 5 ft tall and has a huge hose coming out of it. Holly Rowe says it's like an "instant ice pack". Here's an idea...skip the mr. freeze bs, save money and use an ice pack.

It's to put Saban's head in to freeze if he dies suddenly (ala Mickey Mantle or whomever). Was in his contract...

You can't put ice on genetically engineered robots. Duh.

Cryogenics is the only way to keep the circuits cool.

I also heard they use airplanes to get to away games...idiots should save money and ride the bus.

Why pay God-knows-how-much on a cryogenics machine that is "like an istant ice pack", when you can have REAL instant ice packs on stand-by? Tell me this isn't ridiculous.

Devices similar to that are used by NFL teams in the treatment of spinal cord injuries.

....Bama should be applauded for having one available.

Why pay for bottled water or gatorade when you could run a garden hose out to the sideline? I just dont understand why you care how Alabama spends the fortune they are raking in off the success they are having.

Dummies mock what they don't understand.

Sideline tech trends come and go...if this ends up being a main-stay, I will concede that I am a dummy. Otherwise, I'm holding true to my stance that this is absurd

Google 'Kevin Everett'.

That "absurdity" is partly responsible for his continued ability to walk.

I don't understand why you care why I care about such nonsense. I think it's hilarious, that's that.

"doctors chilled his body by giving him two liters of an icy saltwater solution intravenously". That's what I found...what I'm talking about is COMPLETELY different.

It's the same technology. Why else do you think it would be out there, if not for the potential to treat injures?

.....it's not out there to keep drinks cold.

It has been shown that instantaneous cooling of a major extremity (hand or foot) when used continuously after a workout can increase test production and improve recovery by a good %. You can buy a glove for $3k that does same thing if you want.
