I'm sure some of you have read the story of Operation Redwing and U.S. Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell's personal account of his SEAL Team's battle with the Taliban in the book "Lone Survivor". If you haven't, I certainly suggest that you check it out. It is definitely an interesting and inspiring read that goes all the way from Marcus' training in BUDS to his mission's in Afghanistan.
Apparently, because of the recent excessive (and moronic) publicity of SEAL Team 6 this movie has been pushed off the shelves by Hollywood Execs and ready to start for production in the early part of next year. Peter Berg is the director, which is pretty pleasing to myself, because I am a big fan of FNL and how The Kingdom was filmed. Taylor Kitsch (or Tim Riggins) has already agreed to play one of the 4 man SEAL Team, so it should be interesting to see who they cast as their main characters. I really hope that they can find a way to properly show the story and give all the guys that died the respect they deserve. What do you guys think?
