Look on the bright side- Vol offense is high scoring

A team that can score lots of points has a good chance of winning any game depending on luck and how well the defense plays. Our defense is no doubt below average in certain positions, so we have been lucky this year. Give credit to the head coach for knowing how to power-up the offense to score points. He obviously knows there are problems the defense: it's a continuous process to recruit high quality talent. From where the team has been in the past, getting thru this season 10-2 or 9-3 is a great accomplishment. After recently beating Kentucky last week and Florida today, I suspect Vandy smells blood and fear coming from the east. The Vols better get ready for a war.

Florida scored more points on South Carolina than we did, don't think Heupel had much of a plan for this game, got humiliated by a mediocre SC team, indicating, at best Tennessee is a middle of the road mediocre team this season
