Dooley had one of the best offenses in the nation last year and he was at home. Last years UT team had the talent to beat this year's Mizzou team by 2 scores.

not disagreeing with any of the replies, just noting that this loss was freaking pathetic. I didn't expect a win, but expected a lot closer than this effort.

I agree with you though. We looked like a high school team that finishes MAYBE in the middle of their division.

Unacceptable! The effort, the game plan, the penalties, the o-line, the d-line, and the list goes on and on...

Very discouraging for the hungry fan base that had thought the team had turned the corner. I think in fact, they have taken several steps back since last week.

Hopefully they get something figured out for the last 3 games.

Honest question, how so? We lost in a multiple over time situation last year...this game was over at the half.

I don't disagree that this loss was "Dooley-esque".

Ole fashioned Butt Whoopin' comes to mind.

Not to disrespect butch. That's not what I'm trying to do. Dooley at least got the game to halftime and then overtime.

Tonight's results are what has been wrong with this team for the past 4years. This team is severely short on speed at most all positions on defense. As a whole they are not good tacklers. Secondary continues to get caught out of position. Corners do not come up to tackle even when plays are obvious. I hope that we have a lot of good players coming in to play defense. It will take couple of years to get the defense up to SEC standards. The off line is not up to Sec standards. They are slow and is the reason that UT has a hard time of running the ball. I think that the QB and receivers will be ok if they get experience.
