if K state and Oregon win out and win their conference title games they will be 13-0. Notre Dame refuses to join a conf in football and can only go 12-0. I think they will get nicked for that and be on the outside looking in. Maybe then they might rethink things.

This will be reinforced by 2004 Auburn who was 13-0 with title game and two 12-0 teams got in instead. That team who featured Cadillac Williams would IMHO have pounded either USC or Oklahoma's eyes shut.

Could be wrong, but I don't think there is a Big 12 title game anymore.

Notre Dame is to self righteous to ever put themselves near any conference imo. For that, they will never get into another title game against a 13-0 team or maybe even a 12-1 sec team.

Oh yeah, that's correct. Good catch volprof. I didn't think of that.

So I guess if ND and KSU go unbeaten then it's one of them vs. Oregon. Personally I would go KSU.

I was typing this when I saw it. Yes Big12 is a 9team league&play round-robin.. NO title game. Oregon actually has the greatest chance 2 lose with games vs Or St and USC. ND will probably lose 2 SC,and KSt is all on Klein. SEC could easily be back,Bama or UGA,in NC game. There`s a 64% chance by my estimations.

No, but they compensated by making sure they play a final (9th) conference game the week of conference championships

At the moment, they'll be playing a Texas likely ranked in the high teens (barring an upset in the next week or so)

Oregon vs. K-State would be my hopes. I'll be pissed if bama ends up any higher than #5 tonight.

Norte Dame is joining the ACC. Will eventually be full football member probably when the existing NBC contract is up

What sign has there been from NBC to show that they're going to stop paying to show their brand anytime too soon?
