The comfy look coaches sport nowadays looks too much like AAU ball to me.

I also loved the look of Johnny Majors with the coat and tie on the sidelines.

I'll vote for coat & tie. The man is a highly regarded and admired professional; he should look the part.
"Comfy" Barnes looks like a grandpa given a courtside pass come to watch his grandson play a high school game.
