2 guys 6'7" and 1 guy that goes 6'8". Their bigs are 220, 205, and 200 lbs.. Feed the ball inside and pound them all night long. If we can get their inside guys in foul trouble, it should go well for us. :eek:k:

They will go to a zone and should stay there all game if they are smart. We are going to have to make some shots to loosen up that zone. If not, it may end the same way as Ole Miss.

Cruddy team? They like 24-8 't they? We lost to Austin Peay when they were like 1-9 or something. We can lose to anyone on one of those bad shooting nights

There's a reason someone made up the saying: don't count your chickens b4 they hatch. We can lose to anybody, irrespective of name or how much of a mid major they are. Just think of how beating an SEC team would mean to them. Today's deli: Turkey and Swiss on Dark w/ Mayo. Chips and a Coke

That's just basketball, some nights the ball just can't go through the basket. Remember the Alabama game? Any team is capable of the upset when the other is cold. Speaking of, I'm looking at the brackets and know there's gonna be upsets somewhere, but usually a few stand out. I'm not seeing it this year. Any thoughts? I have my work
Bragging rights on the line!!

AP was before we acquired Stokes. With him came another offensive dimension. Our inside play has been awesome since... with the size of SSU's post players... we should roll even if our guards play like crap.

Everyone needs to look at Savannah St. schedule. They played several big time teams this year (and lost the all). My point is, they will not be intimidated coming into TBA.

Can you expound on this logic? If we had played decent teams and lost to every single one of them, I'd be pretty intimidated of playing another one... especially if you factor in their home court and the fact that it's a post-season game.

With any degree of film work completed ....they will come out in a zone. Force the Vols to make the 3s. Best shot at hanging with UT.

It's the job of the coaches and the players to not take the opponent lightly. I don't have the same obligation, so I have no qualms in stating that this game will be a cakewalk.

Tennessee is a 14 point favorite. Savannah St. has three 30 point losses to good NCAA tourney teams and a 20 point loss to a bad Georgia Tech team.

Common opponents: Arkansas beat them by 17 at home. UT beat Arkie by 19 in Knoxville. They lost to UTC by 2, UT won by 13 over the Mocs.

They also don't shoot FTs particularly well. They did play well in conference and down the stretch.

Vols win this one easily.

Is it really the "zone" that beats us or just crappy shooting? I think it's the latter. We are not a good shooting team at all. Been that way all year. If we shoot well, we will win; zone or not. If we shoot like crap, this team could beat us.
