I do love guitar center. This is where I bought my SG and my sons Hellraiser.
I've got a little fret buzz and believe the problem is the nut. Every thing has been adjusted in trying to eliminate the buzz. I've read a lot of Gibson owners have bad to have the nut replaced or shimmed to eliminate the buzz.
Have either of you ever encountered fret buzz?
Thanks for advice.
Thanks kiddiedoc for the advice. I took my new SG to him today and he installed a schaeler roller bridge and set it up again. This new SG makes the blood flow.At Guitar Center, there is a guy that runs an independent repair/tech service... think his name is Jim (?). He's right next to the guitar effects counter. Dude knows his stuff and is very reasonable. I've had him set up and work on three of my own, and they have been different instruments when he finishes with them. Highly recommended.
