Looking for some well seasoned firewood in the Chattanooga area.

Seems like everyone around here has firewood for sale, but no one knows what 'seasoned' actually means. Need ready to burn. Let me know.

Look for some ash on Craigslist. There is plenty of ash all over that site if you know where to look. Not all ash is equal though, white ash in particular is great to burn as it has a lower moisture content than most other ash and also dries quicker. Black ash has a higher moisture content as it's often found in high moisture areas and bogs. Black ash simply won't work as well as white ash.

Did you ever find any? I didn't realize til the other day you were in Chattanooga. No wonder I like you. :)
